Through out the eleven tracks in the album Skygaze combines genres such as trip-hop, ambient, future jazz, organic IDM and passages of liquid jungle music, to pay homage to his city, Gijón (Asturias - Spain), packing the record with references to its people and places and to transcendental moments in the life of the artist; this way the fluidity on “Nostalgigia” takes us to “Parque de Isabel la Católica” in “I.C. Park”, to “Rinconín” in “Palms Place” and reminds us of the beloved and very much missed bar “El Getu” in “Tea at Guettu”.
